I have been searching around for information for my ROM day and preparations. I hope this blog can help Seremban babes to get better ideas.

Registration of marriage (non-muslim).
Option 1: Register at JPN seremban.
Contacts: En.Shah Amirul Gautamaruban
Penolong Pegawai Pendaftaran
Bahagian Perkahwinan & Perceraian JPN Seremban
Tel : 06-7651612
Fax : 06-7677094
Email : shahamirul@jpn.gov.my
Click here for fees & procedures:
http://www.jpn.gov.my/perkhidmatan-perkahwinanpenceraian

Option 2: Register at Chinese registrar
Contacts: Tel: 06-7639408 or 06-7633477
Add : No.96, Tingkat2, Jalan Temiang, 70200 Seremban, NSDK.
Email: huatangns@po.jaring.my
www.huatangns.org.my
Click here for fees & procedures:
http://www.huatangns.org.my/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=15&Itemid=27

Looking for Make-up, Hair-styling & dress?
Make-up & hairstyling:
I personally engaged with make-up artist from bridal shop.
The cheapest in town is Passion Bridal. They charged me RM120 + a pair of eyelashes (exclude hair accessories and ampoules). You can bring your own hair accessories.
Make-up artist: Cindy (she's great!)

More choices from bridal shop:
Hollywood bridal photo city: 06-7679969/ 7612118
Wish Wedding : 06-7635118
The Bridal Place : 06-7626271 / 7623161
Passion Bridal : 06-7619968

Dresses
Go to Milennia Square (Lobak), there are many newly opened boutiques in that area.
I recommend a boutique called 'Elizabeth boutique'' situated just opposite the Tarot cafe. They have the most dinner dress choices and with reasonable prices. However, I couldn't find a suitable dress for myself.

So, I went to Sg.Wang & Times square in KL to hunt for my perfect white dress. I can tell that you do not need to go Times Square as the dress quality are so bad and cheap. Sg.Wang has more choices and better quality and I finally found mine. It is a bit pricey but worth it! I bought a white long dress at 'Fairy Beauty' @ Rm290. It is really nice, simple & elegant + good quality. The most important thing is it makes me look slimmer! ^_^
Tel: 03-21480746 / 017-2110746
Add: Sungai Wang Plaza, Foo4, 1st Floor.

I hope it is enough for Seremban babes. Someone who needs about 2,000 calories a day should eat no more than 65 grams of fat a day on average. To determine your ideal daily dietary fat intake:

1. Take the number of calories you eat each day and multiply it by 30 percent (.30). For example: 2,000 calories x .30 = 600 calories from fat.

2. Divide your answer by 9 because there are 9 calories in each gram of fat. This will give you the number of grams of fat per day that should be your upper limit goal. Here, it's: 600 / 9 = 65 grams.

A person who gets 2,000 calories per day ideally should not consume more than 65 grams of fat. Some researchers suggest that even 65 grams of fat in a 2,000 calorie diet is still too much fat.

3) Belly fat is worse than hip/thigh fats

Abdominal, or belly, fat is viewed as a bigger health risk than hip or thigh fat. It has a worse effect on insulin resistance, boosting the risk of diabetes, and a worse effect on the level of fats in the blood, boosting heart and stroke risks. Belly fat, or an apple-shaped body, is also most associated with heart disease and other diseases, such as metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes. The bigger your waist, the higher your risk of developing heart failure, a condition where the heart isn’t pumping enough blood out and fluid begins to back up into the lungs and/or pool in the feet and legs

4) What is Brown fat?

-Brown fat = Baby fat

Brown adipose tissue (or brown fat) is a rapid source of energy for infants and forms about 5% of their body weight. It is brown because the cells in it are packed full of small cellular organs called mitochondria, which are energy factories, and it has a rich supply of blood vessels. Brown fat is virtually gone by adulthood.

5) The normal percentage of body fat for a women is: 25%-30%

the normal amount of body fat (expressed as a percentage of body weight) is between 25%-30% in women and 18%-23% in men. Women with over 30% body fat and men with over 23% body fat are considered obese.

6) One pound of fat = 3,500 calories

There are 3,500 calories in a pound of fat. You need to burn off 3,500 calories more than you take in to lose 1 pound. This translates into 500 calories per day to lose 1 pound in a week, or 1,000 calories per day to lose 2 pounds in a week. (1-2 pounds per week is generally considered to be a safe rate of weight loss). This can be achieved by eating fewer calories or using up more through physical activity. A combination of both is best.

7) Fats maintain healthy hair and skin

Believe it or not, healthy skin and hair are maintained by fat. Fat helps the body absorb and move the vitamins A, D, E, and K through the bloodstream.

8) What is hyperlipidemia?

-High fat in the blood

Hyperlipidemia describes high fat content in the blood. High blood cholesterol that runs in families, called familial hypercholesterolemia, is the most common inherited type of hyperlipidemia. It predisposes those who have it to premature hardening of the arteries including coronary artery disease with heart attacks at an unusually young age. About half of men and a third of women with these conditions suffer a heart attack by age 60.

9) When a product contains partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, what does the term "hydrogenated" mean?
Hydrogen was added to the oil
During this process called hydrogenation, hydrogen is added to vegetable oil. Hydrogenation turns a liquid fat such as vegetable oil into a semi-solid (harder), more shelf-stable fat, such as margarine. Most oils are only partially hydrogenated, which creates harmful trans fats that can raise cholesterol.

10) Why would food manufacturers add hydrogen to vegetable oil?

To increase the shelf life of processed food products

To stabilize the flavor of processed food products

Because hydrogenated oils are very inexpensive to produce

11) What is metabolism?

Hormones and enzymes that convert food into fuel

Biochemical processes of any living organism

The buildup and breakdown of substances in the body

12) The more weight you carry, the faster your metabolism is likely running.
Surprised? It's true; the more weight you carry, the faster your metabolism is likely running. "The simple fact is that the extra weight causes your body to work harder just to sustain itself at rest, so in most instances, the metabolism is always running a bit faster," says Molly Kimball, RD, sports and lifestyle nutritionist at the Oscher's Clinic's Elmwood Fitness Center.

That's one reason it's almost always easier to lose weight at the start of a diet and harder later on. Kimball says: "When you are very overweight, your metabolism is already running so high that any small cut in calories will result in an immediate loss."

Source by: http://www.webmd.com/diet/

Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5499240938923252344.post-48975677898666449302010-07-20T23:37:00.014+08:002011-01-02T01:57:29.965+08:00Emperor Delight, Kota Kinabalu
Tried on this Chinese restaurant which is highly recommended.
It's signature dishes is the Chinese Ramen & Dao Xiao Mien.
It is located at the Jalan Pantai, opposite Suria Sabah or nearby Little Italy.
Price: cheap & portion for dimsum quite big

Tea time only serve
dimsum

Super Best Value for Breakfast & Afternoon tea set form RM3.80!!!

Their signature Dish -Ramen & Dim Sum.
The Ramen & xiu Long pao quite plain but the mee very nice n smooth. It is so worth it. Touching
words from the mouth of babes. A group of professional people posed this
question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does love mean?'
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have
imagined. See what you think:

'When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her
toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got
arthritis too. 'Wow, this girl in my office is a real looker. But it's not her Wynona Rider features that got me. I'm crazy about her because she's also understanding, intelligent, tender - so many things that my spouse is not'

Somewhere along the way, you'll find a woman or a man who will be more charming or sensitive. More alluring. More thoughtful. Richer. Have greater sex appeal. And you will find a woman or man who will need you and pursue you and go loco over you more than your spouse ever did.

Because no wife or husband is perfect. Because a spouse will only have 80% of what you're looking for. So adultery takes place when a husband or wife looks for the missing 20%. Let's say your wife is melancholic by nature .

You may find yourself drawn to the pretty clerk who has a cherry laugh no matter what she says: 'I broke my arm yesterday, Hahahaha . . ..'

Or because your wife is a homebody in slippers and pajamas, smelling of garlic and fish oil, you may fall for a fresh-smelling young sales representative that visits your office in a sharp black blazer, high heels, and a red pencil-cut skirt Or because your husband is the quiet
type, your heart may skip a beat when you meet an old college flame who has the makings of a talk show host.

But wait! That's only 20% of what you don't have.

Don't throw away the 80% that you already have!

That's not all. Add to your spouse's 80% the 100% that represents all the years that you have been with each other. The storms you have weathered together. The unforgettable moments of sadness and joy as a couple. The many adjustments you have made to love the other. The wealth of memories that you've accumulated as lovers.

Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have.

But faithfulness happens when you start thanking God for what you already have.

But I'm not just talking about marriage.

I'm talking about life!

About your jobs.
About your friends.
About your children.
About your lifestyles.

Are you like the economy airline passenger that perennially peeks through the door of the first class cabin, obsessed with what he's missing? Well, after joining this gym for more than a year, I saw many changes in the gym. I have lots of opinions about this gym
Firstly, trainers keep on changing. Almost all the trainers has left and new faces in every 2-3 mths.
2) The rock climbing ... i think is for decoration only. When i asked around whether any trainers can guide on rock climbing, they said have to make appointment and the way they answer was not so confident and unsure on that...
3) Group classes - not much variety and very limited. Only once a week for a particular class and not crowded at all. I had been 1-1 with the trainers!! Imagine the crowd! & no classes on weekend!
4) As for the weights, my boyfriend actually complaint the weights are very light and limited.
5) Good thing is the gym is not too crowded and don't need to wait for some machines that you wanted to workout, they include towel service and key for locker ( instead of pad locks that sometimes you might forget).
6) As for the membership price, the staff are not pushy at all so dont worry. Thank god, I made it to the top! For those are preparing for the climb, here the list of things you must prepare! Trust me!

Must Bring:
1) A pair of comfortable shoe
- Hiking shoe highly recommended. There are rocks to climb with some string-pulling and it is very steep at the first 2 hours of the night climb. So make sure your shoe not too loose or too tight. I got my hiking at those shops that sells school shoes and it cost only RM10.
Alternatively, get sport shoe with some good brand (do not use Power , recommend Puma or Nike). According to my friend who went with lousy shoe (Power) it get torn during the climb.
2) Socks
- 1 pair of winter socks - when sleeping at Laban Rata and climbing to the summit
- 3 pair of normal socks - wear two pair of socks with your hiking shoes. There will be a lot of stones at the last 2 hours of climb to laban rata. If you can't take 6 hours of non-stop foot reflexology, please double layer your socks for those wearing hiking shoes is not as thick as sport shoe. & spare some socks to change fr the next day of course.
3) Gloves & Raincoat
You only need it when you climb to the summit. Get winter gloves but no leather one coz you need to pull string during the climb. Get disposable raincoat in case it rain.
4) Winter jacket & long john
Wind breaker, long john n long sleeve clothes are enough. People like me, get cold easily can stand with only wind breaker.
5) Short & long pants, T-shirts
-2 pair of short pants & 2 t-shirts to climb to laban rata & back to the base.
-1 pair of long pant. any long pant will do as long as it is not jeans. recommend track suit with long john.
- Long sleeve shirt
6) Energy food and drinks
Get 1-2 chocolate bar and 100plus a must! Dont worry, you wouldnt want to eat much! 2 bottle of 0.5L mineral water and 2 bottle of 0.5L 100 plus. There will be water supply along for refill. Apple give u pleasure!
7)Hand Warmer
-can get it at shops selling those climbing necessities at RM5/packet - can be found in a shop in Warisan Square in 2nd floor or somewhere near Jetty few shops from Cock & bull Bar.
8) Medicines
Panadol (paracetamol) for fever & headache, Some anti-cramp pills (dont know what it called), yokoyoko.
9) Confidence & Determination
Believe that you can make it, take it slowly and follow your own speed. Be careful of the roads, dont step on the tree roots. Enjoy the scenery & no rushing.
Remember! It is tired but you can still make it!Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5499240938923252344.post-11042077890120897482010-05-22T20:24:00.008+08:002010-06-05T23:51:24.303+08:00Dangerous ingredients that can harm your skin and health.Ladies, you must read this! Do check on your skin care products label and ingredients to make sure it is safe. I read this on newspaper today and decided post it in my blog to share with others.

Findings:
- USA Environment Working group (EWG) had 7,500 beauty products tested and only 28 with safety stamp!!
- nearly 1/3 of the products contained ingredients classified as possible carcinogens (tend to cause cancer)
- those dangerous ingredients can expose to carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, neurotoxins, allergens, irritations, headache, nausea and even depression!

*The 'beware' list
1) Sodium Lauryl Sulfate & Sodium Laureth Sulfate
- used in almost 90% of all shampoo tested positive for eye damage, depression, laboured breathing and severe skin irritation when tested on animals.
2) Mineral Oil
-typically found in lipsticks, lotions, makeup removers & liquid foundations. It is actually crude oil derived from petroleum that coats the skin like a film, preventing pores from breathing.
3) Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA)
-Yes AHA is organic, hydrating and natural exfoliant but high percentage of this only removes dead skin cells and also natural protective layer. long term use can leave skin more susceptible to harmful UV rays.
4) Formalin
- found in nail polish, shampoos and skin creams. It is linked to asthma and cancer.
- also used in labs to preserve the dead bodies!!
5) Talc
- found in loose and pressed powders, blushes and baby powder. Talc is potentially hamrful ingredient when inhaled.
6) Collagen (the wonderful pumping effects)
- found in cosmetic creams and moisturisers and are actually extracted from animal skins
- it canot penetrate the pores and only clogs the pores and keep skin from functioning properly.
7) Lanolin
- a fat derived from wool which can cause irritations and rashes on the skin.
8) DEA, MEA and TEA
- found in shampoos, soaps and facial cleanser. The three are hormone-disrupting chemicals known to form cancer.
9) Fragrance
- many are carcinogenic or toxic and synthenic. Clinical observations shown that exposure to fragrance can affect the central nervous system causing depression, hyperactivity, irritability, inability to cope and even behaviourial changes.
10) Paraben
- used to prolong shelf life of products. regular use can result in allergic reactions
11) Benzaldehyde
- regular use can cause irritation to the mouth, throat, eyes, skin lungs, nausea and pain. Long term use can result in kidney damage.
12) Synthetic colours
- used many in lipstick, believed to be carcinogenic especially Blue 1, Green 3, Yellow 5,6 and Red 33. Many contain coal tar and even arsenic and lead.
13) Propylene Glycol
- found in beauty creams, cosmetics and cleansers
- can cause skin rashes, contact dermatitis, damage to kidney and liver.Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5499240938923252344.post-40523928234152988482010-03-28T18:53:00.000+08:002010-03-28T18:55:09.158+08:00Every Woman Should ...<blockquote style="margin-left: 3.75pt; Believe it or not?
Ghost hunters has been a popular American television show since 2004. Subsequently, many other televisions are also featuring the similar program such as 'Seekers' (Malaysia)

What attracted me is the Malaysian Ghost Research (MGR) founded by Augustine Townosing, A Sabahan (Malaysia) who is also a member and certified instructor of International Ghost Hunters Society. He obtained several Paranormal qualifications. The mission of MGR is to share documentation through research about existence of life after death.

Check out the research reports and findings (photos, videos) @ www.malaysian-ghost-research.org.

Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5499240938923252344.post-20276303497068881522009-09-23T22:13:00.002+08:002009-09-23T22:38:52.160+08:00Only Solution for sony Mp3 problemDo you have problem transferring songs from sonic stage to your Mp3?
Mp3 not connected to your sonic stage at all?
Mp3 shows no data?

You found the right solution here!
Easy as 123

JUST REFORMAT YOUR MP3 PLAYER!!!
Reformat your Mp3 player itself without connecting to the PC.
- Go to Settings - Advanced setting
- Select Initialize
- Select Format, OK
Now, you can transfer songs from your sonic stage to your MP3.

Other problems on sony mp3? It gives a very smooth and natural looking and long lasting. I like it but after 2 hours I find it quite oily, so I did some research on BB cream online. I thought can share my research for those who are new or wish to try on BB cream but no ideas on which to choose.

Let me brief you on BB cream history:
Blemish balm cream known as BB cream was first created by German dermatologists, and is a treatment foundation cream for those who have undergone skin-peeling treatments (such as laser treatment). It was made popular by Korean celebrities.

BB cream serve as a makeup base, foundation, moisturizer and sun protections. Not only do they cover blemishes, they also have soothing, healing properties. Not all BB cream have all these functions, there are many types of BB cream some need to apply after moisturizer, some without the SPF or PA.

Benefits of BB cream:
- helps tighten pores and improve overall skin texture
- effectively controlling sebum production to give you oil shine-free skin.
- anti-aging and whitening effect
- save time as it is a skincare/healing product combined with make-up
- affordable and easy to use
- very light compared to foundation
- long lasting

I prefer natural or organic ingredient, so I recommend...
* Elianto Miracle Multiplex BB cream @RM49
* Skinfood BB cream: Oily skin - Aloe BB cream @ Rm54.90

Search for the ones that suitable for yourself, you might consider ...
1) the properties & ingredients such as moisturizing, sun protector, oil-free
2) the scent, some are fragrance free, some are scented

According to the beauty consultant BB cream is not really a skin care, she advises:
1) apply moisturizer and/or day cream ( sun protector) before BB cream although it comes with moisturizing or SPF
2) apply very light powder for longer lasting

Trust me, you will never regret.
Happy hunting, trying.. whatever.. ^_^Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5499240938923252344.post-55180902910691699372009-07-18T21:13:00.003+08:002010-03-14T19:44:18.888+08:00Woman in life T his is a beautiful article:
The woman in your life...very well expressed...

Tomorrow you may get a working woman, but you should marry with these facts as well.

Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
Who is earning almost as much as you do;

One, who has dreams and aspirations just as
you have because she is as human as you are;

One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your
Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system
that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements

One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as
much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;

One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who
love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name

One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you
sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment
and that kitchen

One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook
food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more,
and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother,
a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you are as
to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that
you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;

One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at
her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing
to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy,
unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;

Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can, but won't, simply
because you won't like it, even though you say otherwise

One, who can be late
from work once in a while when deadlines, just like
yours, are to be met;

One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important
relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some
and trust her;

One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows
in your entire house - your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most
importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.

But not many guys understand this......

Please appreciate "HER"

I hope you will do....Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5499240938923252344.post-67280092613619161382009-07-15T23:24:00.005+08:002009-07-18T22:09:30.644+08:00SynarGym at Sooka SentralRecently, I joined this fitness center at Sooka Sentral located at KL Sentral.
Just want to share some of my opinions on this gym.

Membership fees - A bit pricey(RM120 & above)compared to other fitness center as they do not have any contract to sign. The staffs are friendly and not pushy at all, so it is not so commercialized like other fitness center.

Equipments - advanced equipments. There is rock climbing wall there.

Environment & facilities- Nice and quiet. I usually go there on weekday after office hour. Not crowded, very nice place to workout.

Group exercise- there are quite number of fitness class to join like yoga, pilates, body combats, body pump, belly dance, spinning class, etc. Each class only with 1-2 sessions per week except for body pump & yoga.

Overall, I think this gym is suitable for beginners as you may try 1-3 months membership before committing yourself for a 1 or 2 years gym membership at certain FC. I personally think that the most important is the LOCATION. No matter how good the place is, the long journey will just wipe off your determination to go for the gym. So make it convenient for yourself.Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5499240938923252344.post-33536113126846325232009-06-18T22:26:00.006+08:002009-06-19T00:02:07.396+08:00Natural DIY facial mask & makeup removerYo yo Yo! Here are some facts about me:

Note : there is no priority in the sequence

1) My drawings sucks...
I never got better than grade C in my Art subject. Well, Im just lack of imagination, I think I am quite good in drafting/copying coz I used to draw Fred Flinstone when I was 10. I showed it to my mom and guess what? She asked' are you kidding me, you must have traced it from the picture right?.. hehhehe see.. it so look alike. I took 5 hours to complete and the pencil eraser left only about a size of a 3mm button.

2) I am not into video/PC games
I played PS for no more than 3 times, I can list out the games that I played which no more than 10 in my entire life. I am bored of video games. In fact, I prefer short games like puzzle game but will get bored eventually. Mr.Mario is the only game that I used to play the most. Now, i enjoyed facebook games like 'spot the difference'.

3) I am not keen in cartoons and animations
Cartoons maybe can name a few, Animations I can only name you Slam dunk & Dragon ball. Well, my cartoons are for age below 5 ... like The little mermaid, sleeping beauty, cinderella, etc. I know you are laughing.. pls dont laugh at me. Well, I have favourite cartoon character! They are Tweety bird, Flounder (mermaid's best friend) and Fred Flinstone.

4) Addictions
I am addictive to food and songs. I can have my favourite meal everyday for 2 months non-stop.
I can listen to only one song in my Mp3 for few hours even for days!

5) I am a Taurean
Obviously Taurus the Bull symbolize 'Stubbornness'. Yes, I am particularly stubborn in everything. I only give up when I experience it even people have warn me not to. I just don't listen. And I also born in the year of Ox.. ahhhhh double BULL...Vanillahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08647525264086613028noreply@blogger.com0
